Social Justice
Despite having made the monumental concession that all human beings share an inherent nature and a have common worth, most societies still grapple with the difficulty that comes with striving to adequately distribute wealth, opportunities, and privileges among their constituents. This is true even for countries and regions with the greatest intention to pursue social justice. In response to this challenge, Dr. Eric Mulumba Zozo advances four areas of focus to address in order to achieve attainable goals towards social justice for populations of all sizes.
Key Initiatives
Equal Opportunity
Mindset and cultural shifts open the way for a broader scope of opportunity. Interventions Encouraged by Dr. EMZ: • Equipping Communities with Infrastructures that Encourage Growth • Bridging the Gender Gap in Education and the Workforce
Broadening the scope of opportunity requires leveling the playing field for people from all demographics. Whether that be through investing in disenfranchised communities, promoting a culture of organic diversity among working groups, or challenging counterproductive norms within institutions.

Certain groups of individuals tend to give up on their vocation due to the dissonance between the occupation they would like to pursue and the professions that have historically represented their heritage. Shifts in perception of what sector one should be allowed to operate in are occurring daily, and have shown great promise in furthering the global progress.
Healthcare Access
The health component most dependent on strategy rather than capacity. Strategies Supported by Dr. EMZ: • Public Health Awareness Campaigns • Ambulatory Healthcare Services • Broadening the Array of Free Health Services • Expanding Access to Reliable Healthcare Knowledge Using Cutting Edge Technology
There exists a considerable divergence in healthcare systems all over the world. Nevertheless, a common trend can be identified. Certain systems tend to prioritize prevention while others champion treatment instead as a primary path to health. As a result, a significant discrepancy can be observed in the costs and quality of healthcare services across the globe. Yet, even with the varying levels of resources offered to patients depending on their provenance, increasing access to adequate healthcare services is a matter in question everywhere.

The question of limited healthcare access can depend on varying factors from insurance coverage, lack of capacity, the limits in knowledge, or barriers in communication. Programs that can be put in place to address each of these unique matters and to solve challenges associated with them should be encouraged to ensure that the healthcare field can indeed accomplish its responsibility to improve and save as many lives as possible.
Combatting Discrimination
Not simply a matter of morality, but also a determinant of productivity. Causes Advocated For by Dr. EMZ Include Fights against: • Racism • Antisemitism • Agism
Despite the efforts and progress made worldwide, marginalization of certain groups on the basis of gender, race, ethnicity, background, or any other factor continues to occur. Not only is this contrary to the principle of global citizenship, but it is very counterproductive to society as whole which strives when diversity is encouraged. Indeed, instead of serving as causes for division, individual and group differences should be seen as opportunities to achieve complementarity and enrichment in perspective.

The principle is not merely a compelling argument, but point of view that has proven productive to groups shrewd enough to consider it and abide by what it entails. Hence, the most productive communities are the ones capable of maintaining cohesion despite individual differences and capitalizing from diversity’s potential to spur growth. Consequently, the fight against all forms of discrimination are not only noble, but even necessary for the benefit of all.
Governmental
Populations need to better use their voice to produce favorable change. Policies and Practices Promoted by Dr. EMZ • Diplomacy • Charity • Governmental Support for Community Development
The public sector has a responsibility to answer public needs emphasized by its population, but the public also has a duty to exercise its power to engage with its representatives and fellow compatriots to address widespread problems. Before lobbyists, public officials are to serve and be held accountable to their constituency. However, seldom does the public fully exercise this power. In fact, many instead show much complacency in the face of mediocre or lackluster public tenures.

The presence of this conundrum calls for personalities and activists who are informed, educated, and sufficiently equipped to take up worthy causes to their government officials in order to have them be properly tackled. After all, legislations and executive interventions are supposed to come as a result of effective diplomacy and negotiation.
